SOLD: RED DRUM'S LIONHEART ("RICHARD")
1999 Bay Welsh Gelding (14.1 & 1/2 hands)

Congratulations to Thiele Schroeder and trainer Jennifer Edwards of Dayton, OH, on the purchase of Richard!!! Best of luck for a winning 2008 show season.

Owner sadly must sell.

Very sadly outgrown, "Richard" has taken his current rider all the way from the short stirrup division to the rated large pony hunters, with wins at every stage along the way. Last year he was 13th over fences at the USEF Pony Finals in Kentucky.

Richard is a great jumper and a very good mover. He has TONS of step and is very, very quiet. He doesn't need any prep, he won't look at the jumps, and he doesn't need to get into the ring before he goes in at the 3'0". He has never spooked or stopped (EVER), and truly loves his job. If there was any way we could keep him in the barn, we would, but we don't have anyone in the right price range.

    2007 Highlights Include:
  • *Over 3,000 points towards indoors in only 10 shows
  • *Currently 1st, USEF Zone 5 HOTY Awards, Large Pony Hunters
  • *Currently 1st, Illinois H/J Assn, Large Pony Hunters
  • *Top 25 Nationally
  • *Qualified 2007 USEF pony hunter finals
  • *Qualified 2007 USEF pony medal finals

Richard can be seen and tried at Equifest I, Pony Finals, and Indoors (if still available). Please call soon to set up a time to try this wonderful pony.

Inquiries from adults only. Email trainer Margaret Clayton at margaret@palladiafarm.com or call (773) 220-2193.
